A Design-Build Studio…
Suzanne and Blake Porter founded Retreat & Co. as a husband-and-wife design-build studio rooted in craftsmanship, trust, and thoughtful execution.
Their backgrounds in residential real estate and luxury homebuilding revealed a consistent problem: design and construction were often treated as separate conversations. Retreat & Co. was created to bring them back together — under one unified, design-led approach.
…From the Beginning
Suzanne serves as Founder and Principal Designer, shaping the creative direction and guiding the client experience. Blake leads Construction & Operations, overseeing technical execution, quality, and delivery.
Together, they bring a rare balance of vision and precision — ensuring every Retreat & Co. home is as beautifully built as it is beautifully designed.
Outside of work, they are raising three sons — Cash, Beau, and Tripp — a daily reminder that homes are ultimately for living, gathering, and growing.
